An extremely versatile rig that ticks all the boxes. As the name suggests the Combi Rig combines two contrasting materials, utilising the merits of each one:

100% Fluorocarbon Boom Section (Stiff):

The key feature that this material brings to the table is its ability to create ‘Point X’, the point of no return. This is the moment a stiff material passes over a carps bottom lip. In theory, once this stiff boom section passes into the carps mouth it is very hard (in comparison to a supple material) for the carp to eject.

Braid Hook Section (Supple):

The super supple short section of braid allows for the hook to easily turn and take hold.

In summary the Combi Rig uses the advantageous stiffness of a 100% fluorocarbon boom section with all of the benefits of a super supple braided hook section at the business end; superb anti-eject properties combined with a supple hook section that will turn and take hold in the blink of an eye…

Strength: Each Tidy Boom is manufactured using our unique ‘Fluorocarbon Fused Bond Technology’. This is stronger than any conventional knot.

Stealth: Each Tidy Boom is manufactured using 100% fluorocarbon. With a light refractive index of 1.42 (very similar to water) Gemini Tidy Booms are near invisible underwater.

Reliability: Each Tidy Boom is manufactured within the UK. This helps us maintain production standards and in turn the reliability of each and every Tidy Boom.
